The Acclaim could hook up to the BX1751, but keep in mind the Acclaim only has a towing capacity up to 5,000 lbs. You will want to look at the weight of your Canyon or Colorado. I did some research and found that these trucks are 4,600 to 5,100 lbs, so if you add weight it may be over the 5,000 lb capacity of the Acclaim. The only ball mount style we have with a towing capacity more than 5,000 lbs would be the Allure, it has a pintle ring but you can cut off the ring and weld on the ball adapter.
