Will a dimmer on/off rocker switch (D3215) work with a Vortex 1 roof vent?

I received a call back from the manufacturer who reached out to an engineer to verify if this could work with the Vortex. The engineer stated that it is possible that it will work with any switch, but it is up to you to determine how to wire it. If the Vortex fan is modified at all it will void the warranty.
