How do I get my vent to close on the Maxxair vent?

It opened with no issues, runs and operates as it should, but won’t close?

Without being able to see it we would not be able to say exactly what it would be, but we could say a few things to look at. Is the 4301K the exact model you have? If not is is it manual or Automatic? If manual it may be that the wind caught it and it opened too far. The gear may be stuck or you may have to go on roof to see if you can get it unstuck. If automatic it could also be that or the autos normally also have a manual knob that you can pull out to manually crank. If pulled then it won't work when you try to close automatically.
