If you have a 30Amp cord on the shore power side of the generator, which should be 120V, you can jumper between the two hot leads. If you have a 50 amp cord on the shore power side you can not.
Have a 50 amp service coach and a 30 amp generator. May I jumper hot lead 1 and 2 (#4 & #5) to use both circuits? Esco LPT50BRD LYGHT 50 Amp 120/240v Relay Base Transfer Switch RV Automatic Transfer Switches
Want to power both circuit paths on my 50 amp service 5th wheel with a 30 amp Yamha generator. May I put a jumper between hot leads 1 & 2 (#'s 4 & 5) to do this?
