I have purchased a new Starcraft RV with this DV5600 stereo but can't seem to insert a DVD or CD into the player?

I can not change the mode with the remote or on the unit itself...it plays radio and usb works fine...any tips before I take it back to RV place?

Sometimes when purchasing a new stereo, the distributor forgets to remove the transit screws. To get to these, remove the outer flange and unscrew the four screws that are holding the unit in. You should see red tape on the top and the transit screws. Remove these transit screws and the CD/DVD player should work just fine and the remote should start working as well. If you are still having troubles with this, remove the face of the DV5600 and there will be a reset button. Hold this button down for 5-10 seconds to reset the unit.
