All of the Progressive Industries surge protectors will absorb one surge. Once their portable units encounter a surge they must be replaced via Progressive Industries warranty claim form below.
Is this a one surge use surge protector unit? Progressive Industries SSP-30XL Portable 30 Amp RV Smart Surge Protector W/Weather Shield RV Surge Protection
In other words, if there is a surge this unit blocks it, is the surge protector no longer good after the surge? I don't see a reset option.
