Do you have to use the new fuse board in order for the pd4655 Converter/Charger to work properly?

will 4655 converter wok without changing the fuse panel

According to a tech at Progressive Dynamics, he said it depends on the application. If you have an older model converter charger, then the fuse board may not have the reverse battery protection and also it may not have the chip for the Built-in Charge Wizard. So it is probably best to use the new fuse board.
