How many Gallons of water goes down the Drain to make ONE (1) Gallon of Osmosis Drinking water ?

I have Reverse Osmosis at home and it takes 4 gallons of city water to make ONE (1) Gallon of Osmosis water. If this system takes 2,3 or 4 gallons of water to make 1 gallon of Osmosis, it won't work very good in a RV, UNLESS you leave the Grey tank open and are hooked up to Park water. Thanks, Ken Smith

That is a good question. I have not been asked that before. So I had to find out and this is what I found. The brine ratio is 1.7:1. So what that means is for every 1.7 gallons of RO water made, one gallon goes down the drain. So it is much better than your current RO system you are using at home.
