They are slightly different designs. The spacing between the tab fingers are different. You cannot use a Blue Ox tow bar with a Demco base plate with out an adapter and vice versa. If you are trying to use a Blue Ox tow bar with this Demco base plate you will need the adapter below. It is compatible with Blue Ox Aladdin, Aventa 2, Aventa LX or Alexus tow bars. If you have a different tow bar let me know.
