The BTU's would not be an issue, you will just have more heat output. You will need to make sure the outlet is at least 15 amps. Then depending on the fuse size and what else is on the circuit, as long as you have 11.67 Total Amps for use, this fireplace will work. Also the dimensions for this fireplace is 6" W x 18 5/8" H x 7 1/2" D.
