I have a 6535-335 you subbed 6535-3442. Problem is new power plug is 4 pin and my connector is 3 pin? pls advise

If original thermostat is Part# 6535B335: Original Part# 6535B335 has a 3-Pin Connector and this replacement has a 4-Pin Connector which has an orange wire to the 2nd stage (this wire is not needed). In order to use the new thermostat: cut the 3-Pin Connector off the old, then cut the 4-Pin Connector off the new. Attach the 3-Pin Connector to the new thermostat but do not include the orange wire.
