One of our employees here has actually used rope light on his motor home for under glow lighting and he said it works great. A few tips when installing is you want to make sure the surface on frame rails are clean, you can use acetone and it will stick well. Also you want to install during warmer weather as this will help it adhere better. You can wire the power plug direct to 12 V, no need to use the AC power adapter. You will want to install the controller i a storage bay to keep it out of the weather. Last any connections you make, you will want to use shrink wrap or something to keep the connections from getting wet. Hope this info helps.
