To change the wear pads, the inner tube will need to be remove in order to charge wear tabs you will need to run room out and remove skirt and support it and unbolt and pull inner tube out.
How do you change wear pads. Does the slide ramp can be pushed inside when the head is removed. Lippert 103480 Slide-Out Plastic Wear Pad
