Yes you don’t need a room sensor in the zone the RV thermostat will be in.
Is the thermostat the front sensor? We have looked everywhere and can not find one in the front of the coach? Coleman Mach 8330D3351 Zone Control 8-Series 4 Stage Digital RV Thermostat - White RV Air Conditioners
In the past week the front heat and AC has not been turning on and shutting off when the temp reaches where it is set. It just started doing this and has worked fine since we installed it a little over 4 years ago.
