Can this motor be used to replace the standard motor. The stock motors on my 288BHS are underpowered for my slide.

As stated I have a Coachman Apex 288BHS. The slide is about 10' long and the motors are very weak in my opinion, as I must stop and restart, and retime a bunch. We camp in colder weather, and sometime may not be perfectly level either. We live in our camper full-time, and set up and tear at least once a week. We are getting tired of fighting to get the slides in and out, sometimes its perfect, and sometimes it takes 30 minutes of fighting it.

The motor size use on each slide out is determined by the coach manufacture base on the size of the slide box they will build depending on what they request they need for the coach they are building so you will have to get with Coachmen to see if they recommend going to a larger motor.
