If the switch is in the off position, and the thermostat is wired correctly, there should be nothing on the upper unit running at all.
With the thermostat switch on OFF, and the FAN switch ON either High or Low, should the fan blow air out of vents? Coleman Mach 7330G3351 Analog Heat/Cool RV Air Conditioner Thermostat - 12V - White
