While the Patriot Slider is the quietest slider on the market, due to the moving parts, there will always be some noise when you are not connected to a trailer. Generally the slight movement from the carriage and then the points of attachment to the rails is where the noise comes from. We don't specifically have any products to take that away. If you are unable to remove the hitch when you are not connected, we have had a few customers state that they will use a strap to secure the hitch during travel.
