This pigtail will not work with the ME487 P, the pigtail you want to use is the 100019, linked below in different sizes.

Will an ME487 P accept a MER425-36 pigtail? Marshall Excelsior MER425-36 36'' RV Pigtail - Female QCC Type 1 Connection x 1/4'' Male Inverted Flare LP Hoses
It appears that the male end of that hose (MER425-36) will screw into the ME487 P
