What does flashing "Diff" on the thermostat display mean?

Unfortunately we do not know exactly what it means, but many customers have said they fixed it by removing the front cover, taking out the fuse and putting it back. If not let me know and we can work with the manufacturer to get you a solution.

If it did not work, I would contact the manufacturer at (316) 832-4357 and one of their techs can help with troubleshooting. Hope this helps.

To simplify; the two stage heat pump cannot satisfy the thermostat. Which means it's too cold outside for the system. That is my understanding of "room diff".

The tstat when calling for heat is set too high. You can only set it 4 degrees above room temperature. Diff means that tstats in a 2 hours lock out. ( Per COLEMAN AC ) If it did not work, I would contact the manufacturer at (316) 832-4357 and one of their techs can help with troubleshooting. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem and have taken out the fuse and put it back in did not help. What next?

It's 65 here and flashing the code I'm going to be in trouble when it gets in the 30s!!! Any solution?
