According to the manufacturer, Are you getting static or is the AM silent. If silent your AM tuner is gone. If you have static, you might want to contact your dealer and have them address the antenna for reception issues. It's possible the antenna you have on your RV is more beneficial to FM than AM. Below is what I would be asking your dealer about your application for AM reception.
What antenna is being used and where is it mounted on the coach. AM requires a strong ground plane in order to be received properly. If the antenna is mounted to fiberglass, plastic, or rubber roof you may need to try grounding the base of the antenna to the frame of the coach to increase AM receptivity. Hope this helps
