According to the manufacturer, your 2016 jeep limited active drive must have the 2 speed transfer case or is not 4 wheels down towable. If you have the 2 speed transfer case, then the BX1138 is the one you would want. For wiring kit Blue ox offers their diode kit BX8848, linked below. Below is a link for a plug and tow option for the wiring harness that fits 2014-2017 Jeep Cherokees including the Trailhawk. Hope this info helps. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
