My display on the Hwc/50 is showing OFF. What gives, I have never seen this before.
I am at home, and keep the unit in a large steel garage, plugged into a 30 amp outlet. Have done so for years. Went out to run the RV and Generator on the Road, came back and this is what I got when I plugged it in---OFF- Help, this unit has worked for years.

According to the manufacturer, The HW50C has a bypass feature. On the face of the display is a small black slide switch. When bypass is selected the switch will be up and the display shows “ OFF “ . The EMS feature are disabled when in bypass, but the surge protection still works. In bypass, damaging electricity may enter your RV. With the switch down, normal operation and full protection occurs and the display will scroll the various values.
