Loosing the set entrance code number that goes back to the factory one on this lock?
Bauer EM AlSentis Electric RV Keyless Door Lock - Right Hand
RV Door Hardware
We have an AL Sentis lock and we have to close rather firmly the entrance door in order that the dead bolt moves freely. Once a while the lock loose is set code entrance number and goes back to the factory one. Batteries are good and the one's specified. Is this normal?

According to the manufacturer, it sounds like the red & black wire is pinched between the metal plates, and when you slam the door, it applies enough pressure to cut off the power, thus returning the lock back to the factory code. The lock always defaults back when the power is cut, normally when someone removes the battery. I’d recommend taking off the inside plate and adjusting the wire. I’d also recommend adjusting the lock in the door, as you shouldn’t have to shut it that forcefully to get it to latch, it sounds like it’s not fitted in correctly. Maybe the striker needs to be adjusted or a spacer is needed?
