Unfortunately we do not have folded dimensions for this mat, but it can fold down small enough to fit in the carry bag, which has dimensions of 40 1/2" X 16". You could possibly use it under the tent, how much protection it will give I am unsure, but it is made of woven polypropylene, which is like a plastic. So it is not going to completely prevent water and possibly dirt from seeping up. It may possibly prevent rips and tears from sticks and other sharp objects. Hope this info helps in your decision.
