According to the manufacturer, with this seal it is a minimum of 1/2" up to 3/4" of contact or overlap. It will curl or flip with the slide out as it moves in and out.
when using this, and taping it to the trailer, should the wiper just touch the slide out, or should it be pressed AP Products 018-314 White Rubber Slide Out Seal With Wiper And Tape - 5/8'' x 1-15/16'' x 35' RV Gaskets Seals
slightly to the slide out? in other words, should it over lap slightly (say 1/4 inch onto the slide out itself,, and if so, will it curl in when the slide out moves in?
