How do you remove this duct cover to allow for duct cleaning?

Heat Air Conditioning Vents
I have these duct vents installed on our travel trailer and need to remove the duct cover to be able to clean the ductwork. I don't see how the cover can be removed without tearing the whole vent assembly out of its mountings. How do you remove the snap-on cover?

According to the manufacturer, on the inside of the ceiling vent are tabs and this snap on design will form a tight seal. You may have to use a flat head screwdriver to gently slide in and release tabs. Be careful as you do not want to break the tabs or you will have to replace the vent.
