The BX1307 is not what you want as it is for 2008 to 2015 Mini Cooper. The BX1303 is for 2002-2006 Mini Cooper (includes S, manual transmission only).
For my 2003 Mini Cooper with manual shift are offered BX 1307 and BX 1303 which one will fit ? Thanks EeJay Blue Ox BX1303 Baseplate For 2002-2008 BMW Mini Cooper BMW Blue Ox Base Plate

Answer: I contacted Blue Ox and they said the BX1303 will not fit the 2005 mini cooper s convertible with manual shift. Unfortunately they do not make one for this model.
