According to the manufacturer, it does have a UV protectant built in the seal.
Is this gasket seal have UV protectant build in? For longevity. AP Products 018-1097 Ribbed D-Seal With Tape- 1'' x 1'' x 50 Ft - White RV Gaskets Seals
I have the "D" shape gasket around my slide out now, but the sun has eaten it away.
