According to the troubleshooting guide in the service manual, if you have a poor result with the softener. It could be any of these things below. Hope these suggestions help and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
1. Wrong chamber: pour the softener in the right chamber of detergent dispenser.
2. Detergent drawer open: Push back the detergent drawer.
3. The siphon is blocked: Take out the siphon cap from the drawer, and clean the drawer recess by an old toothbrush, then wash it under running water.
