I have a Progressive Industries Surge Protector. can I continue to use that with this Hughes Autoformer?

According to Hughes Autoformer, Yes you can use a surge protector with their product. If your surge protector is the high & low shutoff model than that has to go behind the autoformer. The reason, if it's before it will read the low voltage from the pole and shut off not allowing the HAF to do it's job boosting under low conditions.
