Will this antenna allow me to watch a show and tape a different show at the same time with my HR24-500 dvr?
King VQ4100R Quest Satellite TV Antenna - Refurbished
I would like to tape two shows while watching a show that I had previously taped or watch a show while taping a different show using my HR24-500 DVR. Will this antenna allow me to do that? Will I need other equipment?

According to the manufacturer, If you tie both the main and aux lines from the Quest to that receiver then it should function fine. As far as the full ability of what you can do on the receiver, that would be a better question to ask Direct TV because I'm not sure of the full functionality of the receiver itself. From what you describe, it seems like it would be fine, but I would confirm with DTV and just ask if you have signal on both your Sat 1 & Sat 2 ports, could you then record two shows and watch an already recorded station.
