According to the manufacturer, Due to the system only using battery during hard break or down hill breaking it doesn’t draw much battery power, I suggest starting your vehicle every morning for 15 to 20 minutes and every 8 hours of towing to not only charge the battery but also lubricated transmission and engine components on long trips.
A charge wire from the coach is a option and not hard to do just requires a one way diode and a in line fuse to wire up and it is attached to the brown wire of your tow wiring in your towed vehicle. This wire will send 12 volts to your battery any time the running lights are turned on for a trickle charge.
Hope this info helps and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
