My question is, "How is the system mounted to the RV? Is the bracket removable or fixed once it is installed?

This filter system can be set up to be removable. If you are installing it in a motor home with a water bay, most people choose to hang it in the bay. If you don't have a bay or any place to hang it, like others you could build a metal or wood stand for it. Hope this helps and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
