What is the differences in the EMS PT 30X and the EMS PT30C
I'm looking at purchasing 1 of the 2 Progressive industry EMS surge protectors-either the EMS PT30X, or the EMS PT30C. I like the looks of the EMS PT30X the best, but I'm trying to determine if there is any significant differences between the 2. I like the weather protection shield on the EMS PT30X that the EMS PT 30C does not have, and that the PT30X functions at 10Joules higher not that that 10J will make that much of a difference. In comparing the 2 descriptions either some things were not mentioned or the PT30X just does not perform all the things that the PT30C does. Such as: If there is an issue with the power source will the EMS PT30X also not allow power to the RV like the PT30C says it doesn't? Also does the EMS PT30X automatically restore power to the RV like the PT30C does, or does it have to be manually reset each time? I'm sure both products are well made and will perform well but I'm trying to figure out which one will perform the best for what I'm needing. Thank you, and if there are any other significant differences between the 2 that I did Not mention or ask about please let me know.

These new PTX Surge Protectors replace their previous PTC models. They have the same great dependability and toughness as before but now come with some impressive new improvements to the design and function. Below are links to the spec sheets for both of the surge protectors, these will help you compare. Hope this helps.
