Will the Blue Ox BX88255 KarGard II protector work on the BX7365 Alpha Tow Bar? (Blue Ox BX88255 KarGard II)

According to the manufacturer, the KarGard II will work with the Alpha tow bar. However, the 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk has a tab width of 37.50”. KarGard II is designed to fit standard Blue Ox baseplates with a tab width of 28” or less. If tab width exceeds 28” a longer tow bar hitch connector may be needed.
