According to the manufacturer, the remote for this LED Awning Light Kit is RF(Radio Frequency).
Is the remote a RF or IR control for this Awning Light? Carefree SR0112 LED RV Awning 15 Color Light Kit - 16 Ft
the RF is a better system as you don't need to point at controller to control lights as it works on radio frequency
