I need a replacement water hose for this ShoreLine reel, does any 1/2" hose work?

Shoreline Reels RW40RMK Motorized RV Drinking Water Hose Reel can be used with a Never Kink hose will work better, since it is less likely to collapse or twist on the reel causing water to stop flowing. If you find the hose does not slip on easily, use a hair dryer to warm the end up and use a small amount of liquid soap on the inside of the hose the length of the fitting.
