According to the manufacturer, the DF code is most likely because the indoor or outdoor coil is frozen, the solution is that the system is deicing and cannot be used for 35 minutes and then it will restart automatically. If you are still having issues you may contact the manufacturer at 800-688-3135 (option #3). Hope this helps.
