Our unit tipped over spilling out some of resin contained inside. Does this ruin the unit? Is the resin replaceable (Fresh Water RV Water Softener)

Below is a link to the instructions for the On The Go water softener, spilling it does not ruin the unit and if you do need to replace the resin, use On The Go OTG2-SOF-REF1 Standard Water Softener Resin Refill Kit.
