I use this Amp-L-Start in my RV between the starting battery and the house deep cycle battery.

The starting battery is hooked. My house Sears deep cycle battery has died twice in the past 6 months. And had to be replaced. What am I doing wrong? Does the constant topping off cause a problem?

While hooked up this is only charging the engine battery, not the house battery. As a suggestion, I would look into the converter as it is what charges the house battery, just to see if it is overcharging or causing an issue. Hope this helps.
