According to the manufacturer, for this stay longer tee, there is not a back pressure valve, but there is a check valve going to the auxilary tank. It is the users preference whether or not you leave the tank open.
Is there a back pressure valve inside this Marshall Excelsior Tee so it doesn't back feed into the RV tank? Marshall Excelsior ME420 Stay Longer Tee With POL Fitting LP Fittings
Installed between shutoff valve and regulator, does shutoff valve have to remain closed when using a external tank
