That all depends the resin in your FlowPur M7002 RV Pro 10,000 Portable Water Softener can give you many years of soft water. However, if you accidentally cause resin to be released or you destroy the resin by subjecting it to too much heat, too much iron, or too much chlorine resulting in diminished water softening capacity. There are many different factors, including the quality of water going through the softener, its hard to say exactly how often you will need to replace resin.
