How far can the sensors and receiver be apart and still work?

Can sensors be on back of camping trailer and receiver in tow vehicle and still work?

According to the manufacturer, unfortunately the signal would not travel far enough to be used on a trailer or camper. They are designed to work only for the length of a passenger car or truck and the signal would not be able to travel the additional length for a camper trailer and be reliable.
