According to the manufacturer, The GP-PSK-7PIN is intended to be used with their portable solar kits (GP-PSK80/120). The portable kits simply plug into the 7-pin adapter and then the adapter is plugged into the port on the vehicle (if applicable). This taps into the battery connection to charge them making it an easier and more elegant solution as opposed to having to attach cables or clamps to your batteries.
