Unfortunately there is not a tank check for 50 lbs tanks, according to the manufacturer this will work on larger tanks, but it will not start reading accurately till the level drops.
Is there a Tank Check sensor for 50 lbs. tanks? AP Products 024-1002 Propane Tank Gas Level Indicators- Set of 2 LP Gas Tanks
Or would you recommend the 40#sensor and it does not start reading accurately till the level drops?
