Will the AP 024-1002 work in South Africa?

Will the AP 024-1002 work in South Africa, where the LPG cylinders are mostly located outdoor and the cylinder capacities are 9kg, 19kg or 48kg cylinders. Is the unit waterproof?

According to AP Products, These tank checks are not waterproof, they will work on vertical 9 Kg and read with the phone app., the 19 Kg it will also read but not till it gets down to about half way, the bigger the tank the harder it is for the tank checks to get a reading. If you have horizontal tanks this can also work by centering at bottom of tank, but same as vertical the bigger the tank the harder to read.
