Can this reel be installed in a coach whose shore line power cord is hard wired in?

Our motorhome has a power cord with a plug on the outer end but is attached permanently to the coach. Will your unit work with that arrangement?

There is a possibility that you could use this storage reel, but it would not be ideal as you would have to unravel the entire cord everytime you use it. This one is made specifically for detachable cords and unless you put this in the same bay as your cord, you would have a hard time raveling it up. Also I can't say how it would be with kinking and the cord getting twisted while trying to ravel it up. You most likely would want to go with a standard power cord reel that includes the cord.
