According to the manufacturer, this Safe-T-Alert has a 5 year life span from the time of installation with a shelf life of 10 years.
What is life span of this Safe-T-Alert Alarm unit and when does that begin? At time of purchase or installation? Safe-T-Alert 70 Series Dual CO/LP RV Gas Alarm - White Gas Detectors
In other words, can you buy a back-up and the shelf life won't diminish the active life as long as it remains packaged?
