According to the manufacturer, Typically the Start Load is around 60 amps, 3 times the normal run load. After the unit settles, it should run around 11 to 12 amps depending on the Model AC Unit. If requiring the information for a compatible Generator, use the amp draw for comparison. Typically a Start Capacitor is recommended to ease the load for the generator.
