Is the light output constant, or a 5 ms pulse for this 8 function receiver?

I have one of these in my new RV. It is attached to a front hitch light. And it blinks the light with a 5 millisecond pulse everytime you select the light function on the remote. Not terribly usefull

According to Lippert, the light feature on the LCI multi function receiver boards is a constant 12+ volt supply to the light fixture. The receiver board only supplies the + because the fixture should be self-grounding. If the + leaving board @ output is pulsing, the receiver board itself may be failing. If the receiver board is sending out a constant, but the light fixture is seeing otherwise, the harness between the components may be compromised (or faulty fixture).
